Goddess of Peace and Abundance

Goddess Tara is probably the oldest goddess who is still worshipped extensively in modern times. Tara originated as a Hindu goddess, the Mother Creator, representing the eternal life force that fuels all life. There are many embodiments of Tara, but the best known are the White Tara and the Green Tara. The peaceful, compassionate White Tara gently protects and brings long life and peace. The more dynamic goddess, Green Tara is the “Mother Earth”, and a fierce goddess who overcomes obstacles, and saves us from physical and spiritual danger.

In Sanskrit, the name Tara means Star, but she was also called She Who Brings Forth Life, The Great Compassionate Mother, and The Embodiment of Wisdom, and the Great Protectress. Adopted by Buddhism, she became the most widely  revered deity in the Tibetan pantheon. In Buddhist tradition, Tara is actually much greater than a goddess — she is a female Buddha, an enlightened one was has attained the highest wisdom, capability and compassion…one who can take human form and who remains in oneness with every living thing. In the legends of Tibet where the worship of the Goddess Tara is still practiced in the Buddhist tradition, it is told that the goddess Tara is the feminine counterpart of the Avalokitesvara, the Buddha who is reincarnated as the Dalai Lama.

Goddess Tara in her many incarnations has many gifts to share with contemporary women. Tara embodies the feminine strengths of great caring and compassion, the ability to endure stressful and even terrifying moments, the acts of creation, and the source of sustenance and protection. Refugees fleeing the horrors of the occupation of Tibet by the Chinese armies recounted numerous stories of the Green Tara that protected them during their torture and guided their flight to freedom. In other of her forms, such as the White Tara, she embodied inner peace and spiritual acceptance. She symbolizes purity and is thought to be part of every good and virtuous woman.

To bring peace and harmony in relationships for couples and family members, apply 2 or 3 drops under the feet around toes.

For Strength, Guidance and Inspiration, put 3 drops in your hands, rub them firmly for 30 seconds, then smell the aroma coming from your palms, and wipe your aura, or someone else to get rid of any negative influence. To purify a space or after a death, put five drops in each corner of the room starting from the East and ask Metatron to protect us and the space around us from any negative effects or entities.

The Thymus is a small gland located in the chest just under the breastbone. it is critically important in the body’s response to disease invasion. White blood cells originate in the bone marrow. About half of them go directly into the bloodstream and tissue fluids, but the rest of them must pass through the Thymus gland which is a central figure of the immune system because of its primary role in processing these white blood cells into T lymphocytes.

Myrrh, Commiphora Molmol – Somalia

Myrrh is a tree resin that has been used and valued since ancient times for its medicinal, cosmetic, aromatic and spiritual applications. In Christianity, Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh were the gifts given to the baby Jesus by the three wise men.

Myrrh Essential Oil is used most often for spiritual ceremonies as an incense and it is heralded for its contribution to oral health. You can find toothpastes, mouth rinses and other natural oral care products that contain Myrrh Essential Oil and/or the powderized resin.

Myrrh Oil is steam distilled directly from myrrh resin. Myrrh Essential Oil smells more pleasant than the resin, but I still find the aroma of the oil to be a bit harsh on its own. The aroma of Frankincense Oil helps to round out and freshen the aroma Myrrh Essential Oil. The aroma is woody, earthy and a bit balsamic. It is a wonderful base note to include in blends intended for spiritual and meditative activities.

Emotionally, Myrrh Oil is grounding and helps to mellow out the emotions.

Its sweet aroma is believed to have relaxing properties and may help reduce stress and anxiety.

Aniseed’s scent is thought to repel certain insects. Creating a spray or using sachets with crushed aniseed may help keep bugs away.

Some traditional medicine practices use aniseed oil topically to potentially reduce inflammation and soothe skin conditions. However, it’s important to dilute the oil before applying it to the skin.
