Chamomile Marticaria – German – Blue

Chamomile was a sacred herb to the Saxon. It has a sweet and fruity aroma. As a sedative, it eases anxiety and nervous tension, and helps with sleeplessness or to calm children. It helps relieve muscular pain, and release anger, hysteria, fear, grief, worry, and spirit disconnection. It blends well with firs and lavenders.

We offer two types: the Roman, and the ‘blue’ or ‘German’. If a type is not specified, then Roman is the oil of choice for most purposes. The Blue Chamomile contains more azulene, known to be a very good anti-inflammatory agent and also gives it the blue color. You need only

Thyme, Thymus v. Thymol – France

Liver: Ravintsara, Eucalyptus, Orange, Rosemary, Peppermint, Grapefruit, Thyme, Thymol

For cleansing the liver and helping with the digestive organs, kidney and bladder. Should help release toxins.

Apply 1-3 drops on the liver area.

Conifer (Purify Air): Balsam Fir, Red Pine, White Spruce, Canadian Tsuga, Arborvitae

Excellent to purify the air, bring a forest into your home if you diffuse it. To get rid of mold in a basement, add some Arborvitae. you can also put a drop in your dryer. A favorite of Mikael’s.

Diffuse and inhale the blend.

Neroli, Citrus Aurantium – Morocco

Also known as Orange Blossom Essential Oil.

Neroli Essential Oil is steam distilled from the fragrant blossoms of the orange tree, Citrus aurantium. It is the most costly of citrus essential oils. Neroli Essential Oil is intensely floral, citrusy, sweet and exotic and is most often categorized as a floral essential oil instead of as a citrus. It is highly concentrated, and a little goes a long way. The complexity of Neroli Essential Oil is best appreciated when enjoyed in very low dilutions.

Neroli is versatile. It is recognized for its properties as an analgesic, antibacterial. It is known to promote sleep but also helps excited children to relax. The aroma of Neroli makes it excellent for use as a stimulant and helps uplifts your moods. As a topical, it can be used for scars, stretch marks and wrinkles and also helps to stimulate the pancreas. Neroli soothes the heart. It enhances our ability to de-stress at the end of a long day. Angelica Archangelica – Hungary

Angelica archangelica, commonly known as Garden Angelica, Holy Ghost, Wild Celery, and Norwegian angelica. Archangelica comes from the Greek word “arkhangelos” (=arch-angel), due to the myth that it was the archangel Michael who told of its use as medicine.

Angelica is unique amongst for its pervading aromatic odor, a pleasant perfume entirely different from fennel, parsley, anise, caraway or chervil , though related them all. One old writer compares it to musk, others liken it to juniper. Even the roots are fragrant.

The plant is used as a digestive aid, relaxation and support for integration of body, mind and soul.

You can place 1-2 drops in your palms and rub them together to brush your aura or add 1-3 drops in a small amount of carrier oil (sunflower, coconut, etc.) and massage into areas in need of relaxation

Balsam Fir, Abies Balsamea – Canada

This organic essential oil of Balsam fir from Canada is distilled from the needles of the tree.

Medicinal Uses

Both varieties of the species are very popular as Christmas trees, particularly in the northeastern United states. The resin is used to produce Canada balsam, and was traditionally used as a cold remedy and as a glue for glasses, optical instrument components, and for preparing permanent mounts of microscope specimens. The wood is milled for framing lumber, siding and pulped for paper manufacture. Balsam fir oil is an EPA approved nontoxic rodent repellent. The balsam fir is also used as an air freshener and as incense.
