Jasmine Sambac Absolute – India

This “Queen of the Night,” Jasminum Grandiflorum, is originally from China and Asia where it has a rich history. The tiny star shaped Jasmine petals are usually collected at night when the scent is at its strongest. It is a precious oil as it takes a large quantity of flower petals for the ‘solvent extraction’ absolute to produce small amounts of this oil.

Most commonly associated with tea, the Jasmine flowers are excellent for treating liver problems and dysentery.
